  • Moong Dal Soup

  • 1 cup yellow moong dal (split yellow mung beans)
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric

  3. In a separate pan, heat the olive oil and add cumin seeds, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Sauté until they turn fragrant.
  4. Add chopped vegetables to the pan and cook until they become tender.
  5. Combine the cooked dal and vegetables. Simmer for a few minutes.
  6. If desired, add freshly squeezed lemon juice for extra flavor.
