CBSE CTET 2023: The test will last for 2.5 hours and will take place on a computer in Computer-based Test (CBT) mode.

Today, August 20, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will hold the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2023). The CTET exam will happen in two parts: Shift 1 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and Shift 2 from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
The test will last for 2.5 hours and will be taken on a computer in Computer-based Test (CBT) mode. CTET 2023’s first paper is for students in Class 1 to 5, and the second paper is for students in Class 6 to 8.


Reporting Time:


Applicants need to reach the exam center 2 hours before the test begins: by 7:30 AM for Shift I and 12:30 PM for Shift II.

Candidates who arrive after 9:30 AM for Shift I and 2:30 PM for Shift II won’t be allowed to take the exam.


Documents To Carry:

The documents you need to bring to the exam center are the CTET admit card, CTET self-declaration form, and government ID proofs like Aadhar card, Voter ID, or other requested documents. It’s really important to remember to bring your hall ticket to the exam center, because without it, you won’t be allowed inside.


Things You Can’t Bring into the Exam Room


You can’t bring things like mobile phones, watches, bags, jewelry, or electronic devices like Bluetooth and headphones into the exam room.

Items like papers, calculators, pens, and gadgets are also not allowed.

For calculations, use the rough paper given at the test center.


CTET Admit Card 2023:

If you haven’t gotten your CTET admit card yet, you can get it from the official website: ctet.nic.in.

CBSE mentioned that they’ve assigned exam cities based on where test centers are available, because the exam will be in paper format. They’ve also tried to give candidates the city closest to where they currently live.
