On Sunday, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced that as part of its dedication to the environment and to help candidates, the marks sheets and eligibility certificates for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2023 will be provided through DigiLocker.

You can use the DigiLocker platform either on the website (digilocker.gov.in) or by using the app, which is available for both Android and iOS devices.

DigiLocker accounts will be set up for all the candidates who took the CTET August exam on Sunday. They will receive their login details on their registered mobile numbers, as informed by CBSE.

To enhance security, CBSE plans to incorporate an encrypted QR code on both marks sheets and certificates. This code can be scanned using the DigiLocker app to verify these documents, according to CBSE’s announcement.

The national-level teacher eligibility test took place on December 20 in two different time slots. The exam attracted a total of 15,01,719 candidates for paper 1 (aimed at classes 1 to 5) and 14,02,184 candidates for paper 2 (targeting classes 6 to 8).

Approximately 80 percent of the candidates who registered actually participated in the exam.

According to candidates’ feedback, the August exam was considered to have a moderate level of difficulty.

In the next step, the board will release the provisional answer keys for both papers on the official exam website, ctet.nic.in.
